Lead Nurse -
We have a great opportunity for the right candidate to join us and lead the fabulous nursing teams we have in Corby and Kettering. You will be responsible for the professional and clinical leadership of 30 team members including HCA, Practice Nurses, Nurse Prescribers, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Community Nurse Practitioners.
We are looking for someone with a passion for nursing and primary care, someone who sees challenges as opportunities and has the ability to influence, inspire and energise the team around them. We are looking for a real team player who recognises and can develop the team’s strengths to deliver a top quality nursing service.
Working with the Hub Senior Management Team and Non-Executive Director you will help shape our service locally, you will also be joining a strong nurse leadership team across the group where you will share and learn from best practice and be at the cutting edge of nursing in primary care.
The post is based across our sites in Corby and Headlands in Kettering. 75% of your time would be clinical and 25% managerial. You will need to be able to travel between these sites but also across the group on occasion to attend meetings or training.
Experience in Primary Care is preferred but not a requirement, so long as you have transferrable skills, experience of team management and the drive to learn the rest.
North Northamptonshire is a beautiful part of the country with stunning countryside but also close links to the local towns and cities of Kettering, Corby, Market Harborough, Leicester and Northampton.
