Salaried GP
Brackley Medical Centre is an innovative, supportive and forward thinking GP training practice with various outside interests and a member of Brackley & Towcester PCN. We are based in a fabulous new health care facility in the market town of Brackley; the building is shared with Northamptonshire Health Foundation Trust and includes a 16 bedded unit for intermediate care which we hold the contract for. We have a contract to supply GP Services to Stowe School
We have 15,500 patients and have been growing steadily over the last few years. We are focused on high quality patient care and employee development and have moved to a 15 minute consultation model.
We are looking to recruit for 4 - 8 sessions per week and salary will be dependent on experience.
We have an excellent skill mix team, including 4 Advanced Care Practitioners who run our Urgent Care Unit responding to patient on the day demand. In addition, we have a Social Prescriber, Physio, Clinical Pharmacist and a Mental Health Practitioner.
We look after GP trainees from the Banbury VTS.
Job responsibilities
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
